Farewell Ty 🇦🇺As the season ends we bid a fond farewell to our popular overseas player Ty Adams.Ty has been with us for two years and is now returning home to Coffs Harbour NSW. He started this season with 4 wickets, 2 catches and 68 runs at home against Blackpool and finished the season with another 4 wickets, a run out and 39 runs. Unfortunately Ty suffered a freak injury in the second game of 2026 which required hand surgery and a frustrating 2 months out of action. He worked his way back to fitness and hit 81 not out, nearly matching his 2025 top score of 87. His bowling stats have also been consistent, with a season best 4/32 in 2025 and 4/33 in 2026.But as well as being the overseas who broke his hand twice (can you believe it!), we will really remember him for his passion for cricket, his effort on the field and his camaraderie off it. Thank you Ty for all you have done at Croston Cricket Club. As you head home with Lily, we say go well, and remember you will always be one of us. 🏏🐊

Football ⚽️ Croston Sports Club have been drawn away at West Lancashire League Division Two side, Langho in the Second Round of The LFA Amateur Shied. The tie will be played on Saturday 10th October 2026, kick off 2pm.
